First thing I did was disabling objectdock (the bar), but it didn't affect anything.

Download this file: http://kamalook.de/malte/bsengine_no_frame.exe and copy it to the directory where you installed the game. It is a slightly modified version of the engine. Start this exe. Maybe this resolves your issue.

From the looks of your screenshot you seem to be running some kind of custom toolbar. Maybe this is what causes the problem. If it is, please tell me its name so I can reproduce the problem on my computer.

I don't have (I had years ago) Y'z shadow, unfortunately the window mode seems to cut some part of screen where there should be some kind of button (Option, Save, donnow...)

Actually the fullscreen-mode is not so terribly different from windowed-mode. The game still runs in a window, but the window is placed in a way that covers the whole screen. What goes wrong here is that the window is not correctly placed. I only discovered this once before and there the user used a windows add-on that added a drop shadow to windows (Y'z Shadow).

Hi, I already reinstalled it, scale my desktop from 1280x1024 at 800x600 doesn't seem very easy, as my icons would be messed up :(
The command line has the WINDOWED option, so I'm wondering if there is an option to FORCE FULLSCREEN.

I don't have this problem on winXP Sp3, only at Linux.
What I would try is to set your desktop resolution to 800x600 and then starting bf2.5 ! If it doesnt't work I would re-install it.

First of all: cheers for this great project.
It doesn't go full screen (win xp sp3 and nvidia 7800gt), but it seems that it lowers the resolution at 800x600 and then runs windowed.
I didn't use the WINDOWED shortcut, of course [smilie=thumbup.gif]
