Nothing happened to the 2D. Our cut-scenes will be 3D and everything else 2D :)

Awesome! The camera, the lighting, the screenplay, everything just keeps the good old Broken Sword atmosphere despite the fact that it's in 3D now. Perfectly fits. The only thing Broken Sword now lacks is the voice acting of the people from Broken Sword 1 and 2 (George and Nico would do). If you could convince them, somehow, it would be great.
